Pray To God – 1 : By Gaurav S Kaintura

In the hope of living

I am dying everyday

I thought to smile

But crying everyday

I hope to tell truth

To my heart

But I know that

I’m lying everyday.

Pain is more

It tells the voice

When will I see

The season of rejoice

Wounds are slowly

Filling up in a way

But there still

My eyes are moist.

I heard it all

What you say everyday

For the better of all

I pray everyday

My sorrows seem

Never to be end

Now each day looks

Same as everyday.

O where are you

Omnipotent

Omnipresent, Omniscient

What all people say

Please don’t be late

Lest I shall not

Present in this

World one day.

    1. Thanx………The reason is it is the most realistic poem, I have written not just with my words but with my tears. There was a time, a day, when I asked Him (God), few simple things, in voice of my heart.

      .
      .
      And He replied.

      1. That sounds interesting. Well I’m new here and a mother of beautiful daughter. I have started writing on parenting. Don’t know if it interests you or not. Do give a read and give feedback if you like to.

        1. Of-course. It really interests me. I think, it should be the first goal of any parent to well grow their child.
I would like to advise you to read Family Wisdom from The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, if you haven’t. Its inspiring book about family and parenting.
